Lavender and Leather Winter Elopement Inspiration

Winter in Montana can come as early as September and this particular October day was unexpectedly snowy! The inspiration behind this photoshoot was the Red Lodge, MT biker week that takes place every summer. This lovely real-life couple, came prepared with their black leather jackets and a motorcycle that wasn’t able to handle the snowy conditions.
I wanted to work with a unique color palette of all purple tones in deep aubergine, plum, purples, and lavender that play off of the black and chrome accents. The final images with the snowy backdrop really emphasize the bold color choice! When looking at a Montana wedding in the winter months don’t be afraid to incorporate bold colors. You will be quite surprised at how they brighten even a gray, snowy day!
